The 1st Student Conference of the International Educational Network for Sustainability “Myth2Space” under the title”The Small World, the Great!” was held on December 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2024, at the Greek National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”. The conference was organised through the initiative of the Athens (B’) and the Cyclades Primary Education Directorates, in collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos,” the World Human Forum and the Hellenic Space Center.

6,000 students from 140 schools across Greece and abroad participated in this groundbreaking conference that brought together young minds, educators, scientists, representatives of the humanities and artists to explore critical topics like the climate crisis, artificial intelligence, culture, heritage and space exploration through hands-on activities, presentations, and discussions.

Part of the programme was a GREEN TALES  workshop where 30 Greek children learned about the elements of nature and how we relate to them and co-created stories about life on the planet using their fantasy, images and sounds. The story was shared with the participants of the conference.
