On 4 December 2025, a Green Tales Project local event was held at SİNEMA TRANSTOPIA in Berlin, Germany, bringing together 41 attendees for a special public screening and discussion.
The event featured the screening of three short animated films created within the Green Tales project, all developed with the active participation of class 5c from Carl-Krämer-Grundschule. The films showcased the children’s creativity and highlighted the project’s focus on artistic expression, participation, and environmental storytelling.
The screening was attended by the artists involved in the project, members of the Sinema Transtopia team, teachers, and friends and supporters of MUS-E, including former German Ambassador to Switzerland, Prof. Rauhe. A moderated discussion followed the screening, during which artists, teachers, and children shared their perspectives on the creative process and the experience of working together.
The children were visibly excited and proud to see their work projected on a real cinema screen, with several expressing how meaningful it was to have their parents in the audience. The event also offered space for informal exchange on artistic processes, education, and the impact of cultural projects on school communities.
Participants included the two Berlin-based artists Marion Martinez and Rubén Gonzales, teacher Svenja Kyncl, project lead Jenny Schmiedel (MUS-E), and the school class that created the films. Over popcorn and soft drinks, artists, parents, supporters, and children engaged in lively conversations about the project and its creative journey.
Although invited press representatives did not attend, however the event was warmly received by those present and provided a meaningful and celebratory moment for everyone involved, underlining the value of Green Tales as a participatory and community-building cultural initiative.
