Berlin, Germany – February 25–27, 2025
The RÖNTGEN-SCHULE in Berlin hosted a three-day teacher training as part of the ERASMUS+ Green Tales Project, organised by the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) and MUS-E Deutschland. Seventeen participants, including teachers, artists, and education students, explored green education, artistic expression, and stop-motion animation.
During the workshops, educators learned digital tools and artistic techniques to promote environmental consciousness. Lucia del Pico (IYMF) introduced the Green Tales Project, sparking discussions on pollution, climate change, and biodiversity. Interactive sessions highlighted how creative storytelling can inspire action.
The French digital expert Yann Bonnin led a workshop on stop-motion techniques, including cut-out drawings and pixelation. Using the Stop-Motion Studio app, participants practised camera stabilization, tripod setup, and frame-by-frame animation. Exercises like the “ball animation” built confidence before exploring creative effects like teleportation and floating.
